Yala Peak climbing is probably, the easiest peak to climb. It is less technical and no any prior experience is required to scale it. In other words, it is regarded as a trekking peak located in Langtang Region of Nepal.

While on this climbing you will get an opportunity to witness the beauty of Gosainkunda and Helambu. The experience of peak climbing along with cultural outlook of the area is the best part of this trek.

Yala summit will unfold the beauty of Shishapangma (8046m) and Gangchempo (6388m). Similarly, the magnificent view of LantangLirung, Lenpo Gang and DorjeLakpa is ecstatic.

Our intimacy with you begins from here and we will be in your service for 24x7 from this very moment. The representative will assist you with vehicle and drive to the hotel. You can spend some time in hotel and get fresh before roaming around Thamel, renowned tourist spot of Kathmandu.

Overnight in hotel

    Your trip to Nepal formally starts from the second day. You will be visiting UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites—Bashantapur Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Swoyambhunath.

    Kathmandu itself is a living museum and Bashantapur Durbar Square is jewel of the crown. The site covers more than five hectares area protecting historical and cultural heritage. The site truly portrays ancient face of Nepal and its wealthy culture and tradition. The palace called Hanuman Dhoka is the center of attraction. There are many chowks in the palace.

    There are many temples including KumariGhar (house where living goddess resides) in the campus premises of Bashantapur Durbar Square.

    Pashupatinath is popular site of Hindus where Lord Shiva is enshrined in the form of Linga known as ‘Shiva Linga’. The temple is built in pagoda style and is located in the bank of Bagmati River. It is reported that more than a million Hindus visit here at the time of Shiva Ratri—Lord Shiva’s birthday.

    Similarly, Bouddhanath is located on north of Pashupatinath. It is popular holy site of Buddhist. Bouddhanath is a stupa built structure which is largest stupa of South Asia. The stupa is covered by white wall where small statue of Amitabh Buddha is attached. The locality of Bouddhanath is also known as Little Tibet. The surrounding of the site resembles Tibetan culture and tradition.

    Furthermore, Swoyambhunath is another popular Buddhist site where more than hundred thousand spiritual based tourists visit every year. Swoyambhunath is a dome like white structure. Many monks like in Bouddhanath pray here counting beads and rotating prayer wheels.

    After visiting aforementioned sites we will drive you back to hotel. Here we will introduce you with the guide and other supporting staff who will accompany you in your Yala Peak Climbing. You will also hire or purchase essential things required for trekking.

    Overnight in a hotel

      After driving for around seven hours from Kathmandu we arrive at Syafrubesi. While on the ride you will get opportunity to witness picturesque view of countryside Nepal.

      Overnight in Syafrubesi

        Our trail begins after breakfast. We arrive at Wangal. Following steep climb we move on and this bring us at Khanjung village. After walking for another half an hour we arrive at Surkha. From here begins thick forest. We also have to pass through uphill climb before reaching at Syarpogoan.

        Overnight in Lama Hotel

          As usual we begin our trail after breakfast. Walking for around five hour we reach Ghoratabela. We proceed again and after half an hour of walk from Ghoratabela we will at a place from where beginsLangtang Valley. We will be walking for another three hours to be at a place in Langtang Valley where we will put off at night.

          Overnight in Langtang Valley

            Kyanjing Gompa is just an hour walk from Langtang Valley. You will enjoy the local area and the peaks in distance will drive you crazy.

            Overnight in Kyanjing Gompa

              It is a kind of leisure day. While on trekking this type of rest is essential for trekkers as it reduces the chances of being arrested by high altitude sickness. It helps to adjust your body with increasing elevation and this is known as acclimatization.

              Despite rest day we will be witnessing some fascinating peaks of the region and explore local area. There are two viewpoints in Kyanjing Gompa: Kyanjing Ro (4,800m) and TserkoRi (5,000m). For clear and beautiful view of LangtangLirung, Langtang range, Kinshung, YansaTsenji and the Glacier, we choose TserkoRiview point.

              Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa

                Walking on rocky glacier we move ahead towards Yala Base Camp. The view of Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, TserkoRi, and Yala Peak appear promising from here. Training session regarding your climbing will be held for some time here and you will be instructed by the climbing experts. Their expert view will benefit you while on climbing.

                Overnight at Yala Base Camp

                  Early in the morning, climbing begins. To avoid bad weather and other possible disturbances climbing begins in the morning. The view of Shishapangma, DorjeLakpa, Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, TserkoRi, LangtangLirung and others appear promising from here. You will spend quality time here and get back to the base camp.

                    We retrace the path which we followed earlier to reach Langtang village.

                      It is a nice walk amid woods and river valley. We get in Bamboo lodge and here we join uphill track. The path will lead to Sherpa village of Thulo Syabru.

                      Overnight in Thulo Syafru

                        While on the way to Gosainkunda from ThuloSyafru you get memorable views of life. You witness Annapurnas, Hiunchili, Manaslu, Ganesh and Langtang. For the most part of the day we will walk following ridge. You get glimpse of holy lake.

                        Gosainjunda, the third lake has religious significance among Hindu. Many Hindu visit here during Janaipurnima, a festive month which fall on the full moon day of August. Brahmin and Kshetriya change their cord after taking dip in the lake.

                        It is said that Lord Shiva got released from the lethal poison after drinking water from this kunda (Lake)—Gosiankunda. He made this kunda by striking the ground with his trident. Legends say that to save world from the impact of poison Lord Shiva drank the poison storing it in his throat which came out during churning of the sea. Including Gosainkunda Lake there are 108 lakes in this area.

                          Walking along the edge of lake and ascending later we get in Laurebina Pass (4160m). it (Lauribina La Pass) is the starting point of Helambu region. It is a rough trail where we walk now. We cross few moraines. Before reaching the pass we will be passing through three more lakes. Climbing a small cliff will open an excellent view of the area. After going through Surajkunda, Ghopte and forests we get in Tharepati.

                          Overnight in Tharepati

                            It is a walk of around six hour and the last trail of our Yala Peak Climbing. We follow downhill track and get through rhododendron forests. Passing through few chortens and mani walls we finally arrive at Timbu.

                              After breakfast we drive towards Kathmandu. It is a nice ride through countryside Nepal.

                              Here in capital you get ample of time to roam around especially, on the streets of Thamel. If interested, you can purchase gifts to your friend and family.

                              Info Nepal Treks and Expedition will offer you farewell dinner tonight.

                              Overnight in hotel

                                Your Nepal stay ends from today. Representative of Info Nepal Treks and Expedition will drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport three hours earlier to you scheduled flight.
