While on the trek you pass this entire three pass and due to this it is known as Everest Three Passes Trek.
Before experiencing this trek we suggest you to have an adequate level of fitness. It is even better of you to try some other trek before going for Three passes.

Renjo La:- Situated on the east of Lungden and west of Gokyo, Renjo La lies at an altitude of 5,360m. The unpredictable weather condition make Renjo La passing challenging. But, the view of exotic Gokyo Valley from here is rewarding at the same time.

Cho La:-  Crossing Ngozumpa glacier we reach Cho La. The site lies at an elevation of 5,420m.  The trail of Cho La meets Everest Base Camp route on its (Cho La) east. Due to slippery track crampons are essential at Cho La.

Kongma La:-  This Pass is situated at highest altitude among all these three passes. It is situated at 5,535m. Generally, Kongma La is attempted after returning from Base Camp.

Located in Everest Region, Everest Three Passes Trek exclusively consists of three different passes—Renjo La Pass, Cho La Pass and Kongma La Paa—henceforth deriving the name Everest Three Passes.

The beauty of this trek is that it leads you to world popular site Base Camp of Everest or Everest Base Camp along with Sherpa village—Khumjung—and Gokyo Lake—the undisturbed lake.

This trekking suggested to all those who want to get acquainted with the real face of Nepal as it reveals true countryside picture of this Himalayan nation. Everything that you witness while on this trek is fascinating, be it flora and fauna, Himalayan birds, wild lives living in high altitude and yes, unique Sherpa culture.

Some of the common wild animals spotted here are a snow leopard, Himalayan black deer, musk deer, blue sheep and yes, red panda—rare species that on the verge of extinction.
The trail will take you to Kalapatthar— Black Rock Mountain—from where you will get 360-degree view of entire Khumbu region. It is such a place where you are surrounded by mountains from all sides. The view of Mount Everest from here is truly mesmerizing.
