Namaste! Info Nepal Treks and Expedition heartily welcomes you in the city of temples—Kathmandu. Our representative will receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport. Our intimacy with you begins from here and we will be in your service for 24x7 from this very moment. The representative will assist you with vehicle and drive to the hotel. You can spend some time in hotel and get fresh before roaming around Thamel, renowned tourist spot in Kathmandu.

Overnight in hotel

    Your trip to Nepal formally starts from the second day. You will be visiting UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites—Bashantapur Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Swoyambhunath. Kathmandu itself is a living museum and Bashantapur Durbar Square is jewel of the crown. The site covers more than five hectares area protecting historical and cultural heritage. The site truly portrays ancient face of Nepal and its wealthy culture and tradition. The palace called Hanuman Dhoka is the center of attraction. There are many chowks in the palace.

    There are many temples including KumariGhar (house where living goddess resides) in the campus premises of Bashantapur Durbar Square.

    Pashupatinath is popular site of Hindus where Lord Shiva is enshrined in the form of Linga known as ‘Shiva Linga’. The temple is built in pagoda style and is located in the bank of Bagmati River. It is reported that more than a million Hindus visit here at the time of Shiva Ratri—Lord Shiva’s birthday.

    Similarly, Bouddhanath is located on north of Pashupatinath. It is popular holy site of Buddhist. Bouddhanath is a stupa built structure which is largest stupa of South Asia. The stupa is covered by white wall where small statue of Amitabh Buddha is attached. The locality of Bouddhanath is also known as Little Tibet. The surrounding of the site resembles Tibetan culture and tradition.

    Furthermore, Swoyambhunath is another popular Buddhist site where more than hundred thousand spiritual based tourists visit every year. Swoyambhunath is a dome like white structure. Many monks like in Bouddhanath pray here counting beads and rotating prayer wheels.

    After visiting aforementioned sites we will drive you back to hotel.

    Overnight in a hotel

      After breakfast we catch bus to Nayapul. As per your request we will arrange vehicle to you for Nayapul—private car or tourist bus. It is a drive of around six hours riding on Prithivi Highway. You will enjoy the countryside Nepal while on the way. The lush green vegetation, hills and Trishuli River will fascinate you. The beautiful view of Fishtail Mountain from the window of your coach is equally appealing.

      In Pokhara you get some time to roam around. Here you can have an experience of boating in Phewa Lake. Lakeside walk in evening is truly wonderful.

      Overnight in Pokhara

        It is one of the memorable days of your life. We drive to Sarangkot from Pokhara and it is around half an hour drive. The splendid and panoramic view of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna in north is ecstatic.

        Sanrangkot is popular for Paragliding. To experience and capture bird eye view of Pokhara, Paragliding is the best medium. You will share the sky with birds for around half an hour. Now, we get back to Pokhara for other excursions. Phewa Lake is our next destination. Here we will experience boating. On the middle of the lake there is a temple of Tal Barahi.

        Moreover, we head towards Gupteswar Cave. It is a limestone cave with numbers of scenic impression on it. The cave is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The structure of Shiva Linga is the main attraction of the here. It is reported that the size of Linga is increasing every year. Davi’s fall is another place of our visit. It is an underground water tunnel. It runs 100 feet below ground level. The site is named after a Swiss women called Davi who drowned while swimming in a pit due to overflow.

        Overnight in Pokhara

          After breakfast we ride to Chitwan following Prithvi Highway till Mugling and then following Narayanghad-Mugling Highway. It is a ride of around four hour.

          Chitwan National Park is located in Chitwan districts. After arriving here you can take rests for some time. Our representative here will give you briefing regarding tomorrow’s schedule. You will enjoy the evening of Chitwan. The sunset view from Rapti River is soothing. Dinner will be another pleasant memory of your life. You will get chance to witness Tharu music and dance along with local dishes. Tharu are indigenous people of Nepal who have their unique culture and tradition. They regard themselves as jungle people.

            You will be exploring the jungles of Chitwan today. Riding on elephant back we enter inside the jungle. The park inhabits Royal Bengal Tiger, one-horned rhino, black bear and many other mammals. It is reported that more than 43 species of mammals and 540 species of birds inhabit here.

            Boating in Rapti is another blissful opportunity. Here you will witness different species of reptiles including mugger crocodiles.

            We also visit Tharu museum.

            Overnight in resort

              After breakfast we drive to Lumbini. It is around four hour drive from Chitwan. You will witness lowlands of Nepal from the coach.

              We get some time to roam around Lumbini.

              Overnight in a hotel

                We will explore entire Lumbini today. It is one of the World Heritage Sites. We will pay visit to Mayadevi Temple. You will witness Bodhi tree meditating under which Siddhartha attained enlightment. It is not the original tree but a part of original tree which was planted here later.

                At the outer part of the temple there is holy pond and Ashoka pillar. You will be visiting several monasteries here today. There are more than 100 monasteries here built by different countries.

                Overnight in hotel

                  Retracing the highway which we followed earlier we get back to Kathmandu. Here in capital you get ample of time to roam around especially, on the streets of Thamel. If interested, you can purchase gifts to your friend and family.

                    Your Nepal stay ends from today. Representative of Info Nepal Treks and Expedition will drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport three hours earlier to you scheduled flight.
